A trip to Guimbal Steel Bridge

Its first weekend of September, despite of the weather my husband and I decided to have a drive to  Guimbal Southwestern part of Iloilo. Its doom and gloom and we feel like driving back home but we do not want to be stuck at home again so we continue our journey. Our plan is to take photos of the longest steel bridge in Western Visayas the Guimbal steel bridge.
On our way to Guimbal we've drove past to the rice field of Oton and I ask my husband to stop so I can take a photo of rice farmers at work.

It started to rain hard so we have to continue our travel, maybe somehow it will stop raining. Finally the rain stopped and we arrived at our destination and decided to park on the side of the road.
and take some photos.
The Guimbal Steel Bridge constructed during the American period. The
construction was ordered by US President Roosevelt. It is
approximately 0.350 kilometers long and made of Pittsburgh Steel,
which were imported from Virginia, USA.
My husband took a photo of me while I’m taking photos of the bridge.
I took a photo of my husband in a beautiful background of the Guimbal
Steel Bridge.
On our way home we drove past rice farmers working.
My husband took this beautiful snapshot.
